It is the goal of this handbook to provide the information needed by designers, engineers, and installation personnel working in the water and gas fields. The proper design and installation of plastic piping systems require the use of sound engineering judgment and principles. The ways the engineer and designer interpret and approach the various conditions are important to achieve an effective and efficient project. A design or installation necessity for one project might be excessive for another project. Each project is different and can have unique conditions. The design and installation information, however, will deal primarily with PE and PVC pipe.
